These Terms of Use govern access to and use of BillFacil ("the Service"), operated by Raul Manuel Valdes Del Valle, based in Texas, United States. By creating an account, you accept these terms.

1. Description of the service

BillFacil lets you create, download, and organize invoices for your freelance business, with an AI-based drafting assistant. The free plan includes 5 invoices a month; the Pro plan includes unlimited invoices, your logo, and AI payment reminders for $9.99 USD/month.

2. Not legal, tax, or accounting advice

BillFacil is a tool for generating the invoice document. It does not replace the advice of an accountant (CPA) or attorney. You are responsible for making sure your invoices comply with your applicable tax obligations.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for the information you enter (clients, invoices, amounts). Don't share your account with third parties.

4. Subscription and payments

Pro plan payments are processed through Polar.sh, our payment processor. The Pro subscription costs $9.99 USD/month, renews automatically each month until you cancel it, and you can cancel it at any time from your account or Polar's portal — you'll keep Pro access until the end of the period already paid for. No refunds are issued for partial months, except where required by applicable law.

5. Permitted use

You agree not to use the Service to create fraudulent documents, falsify real clients' information without their consent, or engage in any illegal activity.

6. The service is provided "as is"

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions. You're responsible for reviewing each invoice before sending it to your client.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service, including errors in amounts or data loss, though we recommend keeping copies of your important invoices.

8. Changes to the service or these terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States.
